The Work Week Begins

Hey to all of you. :) I'm not so hot at this. haha. I meant to take some pictures this weekend to put on here but I totally forgot. This weekend, I got to go home and visit my family for 4th of July and it was wonderful. I watched Fireworks with my parents at Boggs on Friday night, and then Saturday I got up and went to my aunt's to help her get ready for our cook-out. It didn't end up being much of a cook-out with all of the rain, but we still had a blast visiting with one another. My uncle Eugene was here from Florida, so I got to visit with him. I haven't seen him since I was around 5 years old. Sunday I got to go visit my brother with my mom. If you didn't know, my brother is in the boot camp platoon at Indiana Southwest Youth Village for revoking his sentence when he was on probation. He has been there since April 30th. I have gone to visit him a few times and this seems to be helping, but it's hard to tell. He was in the residental part of Southwest last year, then he was on house arrest. We thought that he was doing better then, but continued to get into trouble after he was on probation. So, it's hard to say if he is getting better or not. I sure hope so, because he is really messing up his life. It's hard for me to understand how he can get in trouble non stop like that, and how drugs can become such a big part of someones life. I can't even imagine doing that. I just pray that he will find some kind of strength to fix his life. I also pray for my mom, because she is doing all that she can. She is going through alot of different feelings since this has happened. I hope that she will understand that my brother is 17 years old and he will always make his own choices no matter what she does at this point. It is a very hard situation for all of us.

Today I'm back at work and not wanting to be.. this place is so boring!! I try to find things to occupy me, but it doesn't always happen. I'm looking forward to going home and watching The Secret Life of an American Teenager. I missed it last night, but thankfully I have it on DVR. :) This week will be rather boring since it will mainly consist of work. I'll try to remember to take some pictures to post next time!
